The Kanawha County Public Library system makes every effort to accommodate all its patrons. We offer a range of services and adaptive equipment for people with special needs who are blind and visually impaired, deaf and hearing impaired, or special needs.
The Library fully complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and provides accommodations on request for physical access, communication or other needs that ensure our services, activities and employment are available to people with disabilities.
KCPL provides library resources in a variety of formats for patrons with disabilities. Library users who are deaf or hearing impaired may access library services and information by telephone through the WV Relay Service.

If you are a resident of Kanawha County and are unable to regularly visit a branch due to age, disability or an illness that keeps you at home for at least six months, KCPL can arrange for the delivery of Library items.
