The Kanawha County Public Library system's Main Library is located in down town Charleston but we have 9 branch libraries in cities and towns across the county. We also maintain a close affiliation with the Nitro Library and share resources with a number of libraries in the Kanawha County Schools system.

Since 1934 the bookmobile has been serving communities in outlying regions where we don't have permanent branch locations.
