West Virginia Day
West Virginia became the 35th state on June 20, 1863, and for the last 100 of those years KCPL has been collecting resources related to the mountain state.
You can learn more about these collections with our West Virginia Resource Guide. When we build the new Main Library there will be a special West Virginia Room to house the books, maps, photos, and audio visual materials that make up this collection.
