Cross Lanes Annual Pool Party

WESTEST Week is over! You survived, so celebrate with your friends at the library's annual pool party. Meet us at Cross Lanes Recreational Association's heated pool on Big Tyler Road to raise money for Cross Lanes Branch Library. Refreshments will also be for sale by the Cross Lanes Branch Library Advisory Board. This annual event is sponsored by the CL Library Board. We thank CLRA (home of the Cross Lanes Sharks Swim Team) for donating the use of their facilities and personnel for this fundraiser. The CL Library Board would also like to thank the Woman's Club of Cross Lanes' members for their continued support throughout the year and for volunteering to help with this fundraiser. All ages. Admission is $5 for each person entering the pool and grounds. All proceeds benefit Cross Lanes Branch Library. RAIN DATE: Saturday, May 18th - 3:30-6:30 p.m.

AARP Driver Safety Refresher Course

This four-Hour, AARP Driver Safety Course is a condensed classroom refresher class exclusively for motorists who have earned AARP DS Course Completion Certificates within the past three years. This course is presented in one 4-hour session. No written exams and no road test. Many auto insurance companies discount premiums for clients who complete this course. An AARP Driver Safety Program Course must be repeated every three years to maintain discount eligibility. Each participant pays a registration fee ($12 for AARP members, or $14 for others) to cover course materials. The fee is collected only via personal check or money order made payable to AARP.(No cash and no credit cards.)
Enrollment is limited to the first 18 paid reservations. Please contact State Farm Insurance Representative, Brandon Huffmann (304-776-8000) to register for this class.
