Achieving our Campaign Goal

Achieving the library system's vision is expected to cost $47 million based on estimates of architects and engineers:

  • $30 million for the new main library
  • $10 million for site acquisition for the new main library
  • $7 million for the branch improvements.

The Library and Foundation Boards are confident of the community's will and ability to finance this project based on early support and analysis of community capacity and enthusiasm. Funding will come from both private and public sources. You are important to Kanawha County Public Library's success. Join the campaign as a fundraiser, donor, or library advocate today - or better yet, all three!
