KCPL Needs You!

Join the Open a Modern Classic Campaign as an advocate, donor, or volunteer. The campaign is underway, and the response has been outstanding, but we still need your help!

Advocate

• Tell others why the library is important to you
• Ask for public support from elected leaders at the city, county, state, and federal level
• Ask us for yard sign or bumper sticker to show support for the project
• Tell others if you have given to the campaign; lead by example

Give

• Cash gifts or pledges
• Gifts of appreciated securities
• Corporate matching gifts
• Planned gifts
• Leave a lasting legacy by naming an area of the library or one of the branches

Volunteer

• Contact KCPL's Development Department or a KCPL Board or Foundation Board member to join the campaign leadership
• Join the Friends of the Library Foundation
• Volunteer at library events such as the Book Festival or Street Fair
