Type: Special Events
Age: All Ages
Topic: Crafts, Entertainment, Holiday

Get in the holiday mood this Saturday at the Main Library’s Annual Holiday Open House. Activities for all ages are planned, beginning with some seasonal music performed on the library plaza beginning at 9:40 a.m. Local musicians Dan Carney and Garrett Maner of Plaid Clash will provide some traditional favorites with a Celtic twist while we wait for the Christmas Parade to pass by on Capitol Street. There will be cookies and punch on the first floor of the library following the Christmas Parade. Teens are invited to stop by Zone4 to play a game and make a book page ornament. Xbox One games and board games will be available. Santa and Mrs. Claus are making a special stop at our library in the Children’s Department from 11:00 -1:00 p.m. Bring the whole family to meet them! Be sure to bring your camera and holiday wishes! There will also be refreshments and holiday crafts. All refreshments are provided courtesy of The Friends of the Library Foundation.
