Join professional storyteller and West Virginia History Hero Susanna “Granny Sue” Holstein for an evening of thrilling stories and songs about that Appalachian trickster, Jack! Holstein has captivated audiences of all ages with her stories and ballads for over twenty years. Mountain Magic is a celebration of the rich literary and storytelling heritage of West Virginia. Come sit with us for a spell as we share the songs and folklore of Appalachia, from true stories of life in the mountains to chilling tales of haunted hollows. Children: 6-12 Years, Teens and Adults. Mountain Magic is sponsored by The West Virginia Humanities Council, Step by Step, Kanawha County Public Library and The Friends of The Library Foundation.
