Join Timothy Sarko, a Data Dissemination Specialist (DDS) from the U.S. Census Bureau, as he explains how to use census data. Census data can be helpful and instrumental in many different areas such as researching, securing funding for nonprofit organizations, starting a small business, expanding an existing business, etc. Learn how to access online data using American FactFinder (and other census tools) and you will see why census data is such a useful asset and how it can benefit you and your organization. Learn how to distinguish between the different types of data, compare data accurately, and more. This program is part of our 2018 nonprofit and grant writing program series which runs March-July. Registration is required for this program and opens May 1, 2018.
