The Dark Visitor: Conversations about Death and Dying Martha Spalding Mozingo will facilitate this five-part series. Martha has an MA degree in Counseling and is a member of Mensa. Group discussions will follow each session. This week's topic is Perspectives on Living and Dying. This session will focus on important lessons about death and dying. The guest speakers will be Jeff Sikorovsky from Kanawha Hospice and Kathy Weed, Chaplain for Thomas Hospital and St. Francis Hospital. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions for the most benefit. Booklists and other resources will be provided. Refreshments will be served. Please note: This series does not address issues with grief. If you have recently experienced a loss, please consider using local clergy, therapists, and Kanawha Hospice. We will not deal with grief counseling in this series.
