Grant Writing Workshop Join Alice Ruhnke of The Grant Advantage for a 2-hour workshop that will cover all the different components of grant writing. Alice is responsible for creating, developing, and managing The Grant Advantage, a progressive and innovative consulting business based in Charleston. The Grant Advantage is devoted to advancing the mission of nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, and educational institutions through fund development. Alice has raised over 31 million dollars writing federal, state, foundation, and corporate grants and has been in charge of awarding and monitoring federal funds to nonprofit organizations throughout West Virginia. Registration for this workshop will open September 27, 2019. Seating is limited for this workshop. Registration is required.

Sissonville Community Halloween Party It's that time of year again for our Community Halloween Party! All ages are welcome for this wonderful event. Children and adults are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes. There will be games, candy, and some Spooktacular treats! Everyone who comes in costume can enter to win a grand prize.

Littles' Fun Time: Costume Party Bring your young children to the Elk Valley Branch Library for some fun! Let’s get in the Halloween spirit with a costume party for the younger kids. We will celebrate with crafts, activities, snacks, and a costume parade! Wear your silliest, funniest, wackiest, or scariest costume, but costumes are not required to participate in the fun! Recommended for children 5 and under and their caregivers.
