Celebrate! West Virginia "Celebrate! West Virginia" is a musical and narrative journey that ranges from our state’s original Native American tribes, to the early settlers, to our unique Civil War beginnings. It celebrates railroad builders, coal miners, and hard-working mountaineers with songs about mountains, rivers, and the spirit of the people of West Virginia. Mick Souter is West Virginia’s "Bard of Education," the state’s leading educational performing artist who combines songs and stories to both educate and entertain. He is a seasoned singer, actor, storyteller, and multi-instrumentalist.
