2017 Quilt Display: "The Joy of Quilting" Quilts created by members of the Kanawha Valley Quilters Guild, the Moon and Stars Quilters Guild, and the Charleston Art Quilters will be on display again this summer. Be sure to vote for your favorite quilt in the guestbook at the Reference Desk on the first floor.

A Royal Event Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all knights, princes, and princesses from ages 4 to 10 to a royal event. Visit with Miss International and Miss Teen International pageant contestants (www.miss-international.us/) while participating in royal crafts and activities. Royal attire such as princess dresses or knight’s armor is encouraged. Balloon fun by Robert Edsel Young! Presented in partnership with the Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau and The Friends of The Library Foundation. Registration is required and it begins on July 5. Please arrive at 9 am to sign in and to complete a required photo release form.
