Playgroup at the Library All the fun of a traditional playgroup but none of the fuss. Drop in to socialize with other families with toddlers and play with toys reserved just for this age group. Parents supervise their children during this informal gathering.

Celtic Calling: Shamrocks and Beyond Celebrate all things Celtic! There will be crafts, traditional Celtic foods to taste and festive Celtic music. Drop in between 3:30 and 4:30. All ages are encouraged to attend.

Coast to Coast: Contemporary American Writers Reading and Discussion Group This book discussion series focuses on some new voices in contemporary American literature. This month's selection is "The Sea Runners" by Ivan Doig. The group meets the first Thursday of each month September 2017 through May 2018. Discussion leader is Tim Basford. Copies of the books are limited and may be picked up at the Reference Desk.

Winter Library Club Join our 2018 Winter Library Club for chances to win prizes. Fill out an entry slip each time you check out or renew an item during your visit to your local branch library from Tuesday, January 2 to Friday, March 2 and you’ll be entered in a weekly drawing to win a gift card. You will also have the opportunity to get one extra entry just for registering. There are prizes for children, teens and adults. The weekly prizes will be a $5.00 gift card to either the Dollar Tree, Subway or Dollar General. All gift cards must be picked up by Saturday, March 17. The prizes are sponsored by The Friends of The Library Foundation.

Jump Into Storytime Storytime sessions are designed for children up to 5 years of age. Child and caregiver will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and much more. Caregivers are encouraged to participate along with the children! After storytime, kids are invited to stay, play, and socialize with others.
