Jump into Storytime Storytime sessions are designed for children up to 5 years of age. Child and caregiver will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and much more. Caregivers are encouraged to participate along with the children! After storytime, kids are invited to stay, play, and socialize with others.

Spring Fling Silent Basket Auction Come in and see beautiful book baskets that you can bid on silently to win from May 9 - 12th at 3:00 pm, when bidding ends. You can always check on your bid by phone (304-776-5999) or in person during the week in case you need to increase your bidding amount! Basket subjects include: American Sign Language, Cookbooks, Awesome DVDs, Richard Paul Evans, Quilted wall hanging, Nicholas Sparks and many more! All proceeds go to the Cross Lanes Library Advisory Board.

Grant Writing Basics with Alice Ruhnke Join Alice Ruhnke of The Grant Advantage for a 4-hour workshop that will cover all the different components of grant writing. Alice is responsible for creating, developing, and managing The Grant Advantage, a progressive innovative consulting business based in Charleston devoted to advancing the mission of nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, and educational institutions through fund development. Alice has raised several million dollars writing federal, state, foundation, and corporate grants and has been in charge of awarding and monitoring federal funds to nonprofit organizations throughout West Virginia. This program is part of our 2017 nonprofit and grant writing program series which runs February-June. Registration is required for this program and opens April 12, 2017.
