PALS Book Club This book club was formed especially for seniors by Highmark PALS (People Able to Lend Support) in order to bring older adults together for a literary challenge and social interaction. The groups meet once a month except in December. If you are eligible for Medicare, are interested in making new friends and enjoy discussing new books, contact your local library for more information. This month's title is "My Italian Bulldozer" by Alexander McCall Smith.

Painting 101 Let local artist Sharon Golightly lead you in a basic painting class using acrylic paint. You will learn about paints and a few techniques while having fun and expressing your creativity. All materials will be supplied. Class size is limited and registration required. Registration begins December 31.

Baby & Me Storytime Storytime program for ages birth-18 months. Babies and caregivers will enjoy books, songs, rhymes, and more in this interactive program. Afterwards stay, play, and socialize in our children's play area.

I Spy: Snowmen Search the library for five hidden snowman pictures. Just grab a game sheet at the front desk and mark off all as you find them. Return the completed game sheet to the front desk for a prize. Limit one prize per child please.

Elk Valley Book Group Join Book Group members for a discussion of "Stranger in the Woods" by Michael Finkel. Copies of the book are available for checkout from the circulation desk. New members are always welcome.

Let it Snow The holidays are behind us, but we are going to hold on a little longer. Come join us and help make it snow inside the library. We will learn how to make snow, paint with snow, and even learn how to sculpt with snow. Registration opens on January 1, 2019.
