Celebrate! West Virginia "Celebrate! West Virginia" is a musical and narrative journey that ranges from our state’s original Native American tribes, to the early settlers, to our unique Civil War beginnings. It celebrates railroad builders, coal miners, and hard-working mountaineers with songs about mountains, rivers, and the spirit of the people of West Virginia. Mick Souter is West Virginia’s "Bard of Education," the state’s leading educational performing artist who combines songs and stories to both educate and entertain. He is a seasoned singer, actor, storyteller, and multi-instrumentalist.

PALS Book Club This book club was formed especially for seniors by Highmark PALS (People Able to Lend Support) in order to bring older adults together for a literary challenge and social interaction. The groups meet once a month except in December. If you are eligible for Medicare, are interested in making new friends and enjoy discussing new books, contact your local library for more information. This month's title is "A Piece of the World" by Christina Baker Kline.
