Struggle for Freedom: The Life of Dr. King Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national professional touring theatre company based in Asheville, NC is visiting the area with their heralded production of Struggle for Freedom: The Life of Dr. King. Struggle for Freedom is a 45-minute production that seeks to honor the American Civil Rights Movement. Build It, Snap It, Send It Engineering Photo Contest Celebrate National Engineers Week by participating in our Build It, Snap It, Send It photo contest. Send a photo of yourself with an engineering project you invented, designed or built. Post it to social media (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) and use the hashtag #builditsnapitsendit. Contest begins February 18 and ends on February 24. Winner will be selected at random and receive a $25 Amazon gift card. Prize is sponsored by The Friends of The Library.

Used Book Sale The St. Albans Advisory Board is sponsoring a Used Book Sale on Friday, February 23, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. and Saturday, February 24 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. in the St. Albans Branch Library Community Room. Prices range from a quarter to a dollar. This sale presents a great opportunity to build your and your child’s personal library. All proceeds are used to support activities at the library.
