Jump Into Storytime Storytime designed for children up to 5 years of age. Child and caregiver will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and much more. Caregivers are encouraged to participate along with the children! Stay and play at playgroup or older children can make a craft.

The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation: What Do Foundations Look for in Grant Applicants? Join The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation Program Officers Stephanie Hyre and Megan Simpson as they take an in-depth look at what TGKVF's mission is, what their foundation looks for in grant proposals, and what kinds of projects they are more likely to fund, among other topics. This will be an eye-opening chance for nonprofit organizations to see things from a foundation's perspective. This program is part of our 2018 nonprofit and grant writing program series which runs March-July. Registration is required for this program and opens April 11, 2018.

MedExpress Teddy Bear Fair Staff from MedExpress will join us at the Elk Valley Branch Library to talk to children about what to expect when they go to the doctor. Kids will hear a story and be introduced to a special friend. Recommended for toddler and preschool aged children.
