Eating Smart, Being Active Please join April Simpson with The Family Nutrition Program at WVU Extension in a FREE 9-week class--every Monday--on nutrition and exercise titled Eating Smart, Being Active (ESBA). There will be a free kitchen gadget and recipe given to each registered participant at every class along with a time of moderate exercise and taste testing of a recipe prepared together. Registration begins December 3 and will close when registration reaches 17 participants. The Eating Smart, Being Active session scheduled for January 21 will be covered along with the January 14 session.

PALS Book Club This book club was formed especially for seniors by Highmark PALS (People Able to Lend Support) in order to bring older adults together for a literary challenge and social interaction. The groups meet once a month except in December. If you are eligible for Medicare, are interested in making new friends and enjoy discussing new books, contact your local library for more information. This month's title is "My Italian Bulldozer" by Alexander McCall Smith.

Painting 101 Let local artist Sharon Golightly lead you in a basic painting class using acrylic paint.
