Foundation Directory Online Professional is a great tool to help you in your search. Available at the Main Library on Capitol St. in Charleston, this database contains information on more than 140,000 grantmakers and 6 million grants. Join Nancy Allen, Foundation Center Funding Information Network Supervisor, to learn how to find funding for your organization using this helpful resource. Also, KCPL Reference Department Head Elizabeth Fraser will discuss the essential items you will want to have on your Grant Writing Checklist. This program is part of our 2017 nonprofit and grant writing program series which runs February-June. Registration is required for this program and opens February 15, 2017.

Step Inside the Library for a Movie The library will be showing a movie, rated PG-13, from Noon-2 p.m. There may be a discussion about the movie, during the movie as we watch. Please call the library for the title of the movie. Popcorn and pop will be provided by the Cross Lanes Library Board and the Woman's Club of Cross Lanes.

Designer Purse Bingo at Camp Virgil Tate We will be holding a designer purse bingo event at Camp Virgil Tate. Pre-sale tickets will be $20 for 20 games or you can buy tickets at the event for $25. Tickets can be purchased at the Sissonville library or contact Joan Milton at 304-543-0515. There will also be several raffles, door prizes, an auction and concessions! All the proceeds made from this event will benefit the Sissonville branch Library. For more information, contact Pat Abbott at 304-984-2244. You must be 18 years or older to play.
