Family Night: Indoor Drive-In Movie We will be having our own version of a drive-in movie night. We will spend time making our own cars out of cardboard boxes, then sit inside them for the event! We will relax and eat some popcorn while we watch a children's movie. This program will begin at 5 p.m., in order to give us enough time to make the cars and watch the full movie. Registration for this event opens on March 22.

The Reel Connection Reading and Discussion Group Discover these books that Hollywood has adapted to the big screen. The group meets the first Thursday of each month September through May. This month's title is "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand. Copies of the book are limited and may be picked up at the Reference Desk.

Let's Go to the Stars Meet members of the Kanawha Valley Astronomical Society and peer through their personal telescopes and their observatory's large telescope to see the night sky like you've never seen it before! Cross Lanes Branch Library will be hosting this system-wide event which will take place at the KVAS Breezy Point Observatory on the grounds of Camp Virgil Tate. Crafts and refreshments will be in the lower level of the Boone Maxwell Lodge & Conference Center and are provided by The Friends of The Library and The Cross Lanes Library Advisory Board.
