Book Lovers Unite: A Book Discussion Group The group will meet on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. The discussion will be "Killers of the Flower Moon: the Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI" by David Grann. Copies are available for checkout at the circulation desk. Pick up your copy today and meet new friends.

Advantages of Mini-Grants and How To Apply Are you a nonprofit interested in exploring how Mini-Grants can benefit your organization? Join us April 10, as Executive Director of WV Healthy Kids and Families Coalition, Jennifer Wells and Jenny Anderson, Director of Families Leading Change, teach attendees about the many advantages of using Mini-Grants and how to apply. This program is part of our 2019 Nonprofit and Grant Workshop Series, which runs March - July. Registration for this event opens on March 10, 2019.

Mountain Magic: Mikalena Zuckett, Traditional Appalachian Tales Children of all ages will enjoy Mikalena Zuckett’s renditions of Appalachian Jack tales, West Virginia ghost stories, and of course, tales of the Tallypo. When not captivating students at her elementary school with her storytelling, Zuckett serves as president of the West Virginia Storytelling Guild. Mountain Magic is a celebration of the rich literary and storytelling heritage of West Virginia. Come sit with us for a spell as we share the songs and folklore of Appalachia, from true stories of life in the mountains to chilling tales of haunted hollows. Children: 6-12 Years.
