Spring Book Sale! The Advisory Board of the St. Albans Branch Library is sponsoring a Used Book Sale on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the community room on the second floor. As always, the prices range from a quarter to a dollar. This sale presents a great opportunity to build your and your child’s personal library. Alzheimer's Disease: Know the 10 Signs This is a family and community education program that aims to increase awareness of the warning signs of Alzheimer’s and the benefits of early detection and diagnosis. This program also addresses common myths about dementia and includes videos of individuals in the early stage of the disease talking about stigma, diagnosis, intervention and adjustment. The presenter is Jan McCoy. This is one of a series of free community workshops presented by the West Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association being offered throughout the Kanawha County Public Library in May and June.
