Take and Make: Bleeding Tissue Paper Art Make a unique piece of art using bleeding tissue paper. A limited number of supply kits will be available at the Cross Lanes Branch Library for pickup starting July 7th. If you would like to purchase your own supplies, here are the requirements: Bleeding Tissue Paper, white construction paper, paint brush, water, and gloves (optional). Instructions and a video link will be provided.

Join the Kanawha County WVU Extension Service 4-H program as they show you how with demonstrations of hands on experiments and activities you can try using things you may already have in your kitchen. Self-Care Saturday: DIY Hot/Cold Packs Learn to make super easy hot/cold packs! These can be used for minor aches and pains, or simply just for comfort. You will need: a new or clean sock, uncooked rice, two Ziplock or resealable bags, salt, and water.

Imagine Your Story! Create an Imagine Bracelet with Kanawha Rock and Gem Make a bracelet with Susie Lamb, President of Kanawha Rock and Gem Club, that empowers you to imagine your story with gemstones symbolizing properties and qualities you would like to have! You will need: 20 gauge wire of any kind (Susie will be using copper wire), 24 gauge wire of any kind, 8mm round beads, pliers or jewelry making pliers, round-nose pliers or a chopstick or pencil, wire cutters or nail clippers, a ruler, wire straightening pliers (optional).
