Samadhi Tribal Fusion Belly Dance Troupe

This Charleston-based dance troupe has been wowing audiences with their mix of choreographed and improvisational pieces since 2004. The interaction among the women during the improvisational dancing is always a delight for audiences to watch. The leader communicates using subtle cues, such as a head turn to signal a rotation, raising on her toes to signal a level change or a “yip” sound to alert the dancers to watch for a major change that’s about to happen. And, just when you think you know who’s leading the troupe, everything will change!

As much as the dancers love to interact with one another, they love to interact with the audience even more! Samadhi celebrates the acceptance of all body types, all ages and all backgrounds coming together to dance as one so there is nothing to stop you!
