WV Book Festival Writing Workshop, Starts and Stops: Building a Story from Beginning to End This workshop, led by West Virginia author Eliot Parker, will discuss the ingredients needed for story beginnings and endings, while discussing techniques and strategies writers can use to engage the reader at the beginning, create an interesting middle and connect with an ending that closes the story or leaves it open for more. WV Book Festival Writing Workshop, Romance Writing in West Virginia In this panel discussion, three romance writers with West Virginia ties will talk about the path they took to become published authors. Participants will learn about the unique qualities of romance writing and hear tips for getting their writing published. Panel members will be Sarah Title, Jo Goodman and Sarah Loudin Thomas.
