Drop in to socialize with other families and play with toys reserved just for this age group. We provide the toys and clean up the mess, and you need only to provide the energetic youngster!

AARP Driver Safety Course (Two 4-hour sessions) On November 2 and 3rd, the Cross Lanes Library will host the standard AARP Driver Safety 8-hour course in two 4-hour/day sessions. A course fee is payable to “AARP” by check ($15 for AARP members, or $20 for non-members) due the first day of class. Receiving an AARP Driver Safety Course certificate may earn you a discount with your car insurance company. Please contact Brandon Huffman at State Farm to register for this class - 304-776-8000.

Coast to Coast: Contemporary American Writers Reading and Discussion Group This book discussion series focuses on some new voices in contemporary American literature. This month's selection is "Everything I Never Told You" by Celecte Ng. The group meets the first Thursday of each month September 2017 through May 2018. Discussion leader is Tim Basford. Copies of the books are limited and may be picked up at the Reference Desk.
