Children in grades K-6 are invited to write or illustrate how they can create peace in the world. Pick up an entry sheet. Return your work by Nov. 25, 2019. Choose a cool peace prize for participating. All submissions will be displayed during the Holiday Open House. A grand prize for both writer and illustrator will be drawn at random on Dec. 9, 2019.

Family Mixed-Media Art Workshop What better way for families to celebrate November as Picture Book Month than by creating their own mixed-media art in celebration of the beloved picture book, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"? Local artist Debi Ellis (https://www.debiellis.com/) will help your family create your own masterpiece using paint and collage materials. Work together and have fun!
