Winter Library Club Join our 2018 Winter Library Club for chances to win prizes. Fill out an entry slip each time you check out or renew an item during your visit to your local branch library from Tuesday, January 2 to Friday, March 2 and you’ll be entered in a weekly drawing to win a gift card. You will also have the opportunity to get one extra entry just for registering. There are prizes for children, teens and adults. The weekly prizes will be a $5.00 gift card to either the Dollar Tree, Subway or Dollar General. All gift cards must be picked up by Saturday, March 17. The prizes are sponsored by The Friends of The Library Foundation.

Drop in to socialize with other families and play with toys reserved just for this age group. We provide the toys and clean up the mess, and you need only to provide the energetic youngster!

Coast to Coast: Contemporary American Writers Reading and Discussion Group This book discussion series focuses on some new voices in contemporary American literature. This month's selection is "The Coast of Chicago" by Stuart Dybek. The group meets the first Thursday of each month September 2017 through May 2018. Discussion leader is Tim Basford. Copies of the books are limited and may be picked up at the Reference Desk.
