KCPL in cooperation with the West Virginia Library Commission offers a number of online products from EBSCO publishing, including a collection of magazine, newspaper and journal databases, which cover a wide variety of subjects such as business, education, health and popular interest. Many of the online articles users can retrieve are full text.
For quite some time there has been a mobile version of the EBSCOhost website optimized for mobile devices, but now there are also applications available for both the iOS and Android through the respective application stores.
To use these apps you must first go to the EBSCOhost site via our website to get an authentication key per the instructions below:
Two specially designed interfaces from EBSCO are available to KCPL patrons with their library card number and PIN.
You can now access your favorite Readers’ Advisory tool "on the go," using NoveList Plus Mobile. This version is designed for the smaller screens of mobile devices, and offers the most important NoveList Plus features and functionality right in the palm of your hand. Users can search for titles, authors, and series. Results will also include NoveList content, such as reviews, additional recommendations, lists, and articles, when available.
