Each fall the West Virginia Book Festival is held at the Charleston Civic Center. The two-day event is presented by Kanawha County Public Library, The Library Foundation of Kanawha County, Inc., the Charleston Gazette, Charleston Daily Mail, and the West Virginia Humanities Council.
