West Virginia history collection and a collection of historic photos of the Charleston/Kanawha County and the James Randall Black History photo collection. We have also collected these Kanawha valley genealogy resources.

A large collection of test study guides for academic and employment tests like the ACT, GED, ASVAB, postal service and others. Patrons may also want to see the Learning Express Library, which is an online database for test practice.

Since 1971 the Library has been a cooperating collection of the Foundation Center. This means that the Library houses a wide variety of materials to help nonprofits find funding.

The Library is a depository for federal documents and receives print and internet materials. You may want to explore our guide to government information on the web
