Since 1936 Consumers Union has been providing independent research, testing, and rating of consumer products. Articles older than three months can be found at EBSCOhost, a database subscribed to by the Library. It is important to select the MasterFILE Premier module. Recent issues of Consumer Reports are also available at the library. The Consumer Reports site can be used to locate articles and reviews on a wide variety of products. The index can be searched for free, but there are fees to view some material.

ConsumerSearch ConsumerSearch, owned by the New York Times, collects and analyzes reviews of consumer products by other organizations. The site includes links to featured products. This site contains a substantial numbers of ads but offers reviews and commentary not readily available elsewhere.
