Consumer Product Safety Commission The Consumer Product Safety Commission is responsible for protecting the public from death and injury by consumer products. This site can be used to find information about product recalls and safety standards, or to report an unsafe product.

Food and Drug Administration The Food and Drug Administration monitors recalls, market withdraws, and safety alerts involving food and drugs. This site can be used to find information about recent recalls, market withdraws, and safety alerts.

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration The National Highway Safety Administration is concerned with preventing accidents and with the safety of vehicles and car seats. This site can be used to investigate the safety of a particular vehicle or car seat, or to file a complaint about a particular vehicle or car seat.

Underwriters Laboratories Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has been an independent product safety certification organization since 1894. The UL mark is considered a standard of quality for electrical equipment. This site can be used to learn more about UL standards for different types of equipment, or to investigate the UL test results for a particular consumer product.
