Things to Know

• Although the homepage may look overwhelming, it is divided into 3 main parts:
  1. Left - where you enter your search and pick your limits.
  2. Middle - highlighted issues which periodically change.
  3. Right - Special features that one searches more like directories.
• At the top menu there is a link to the Resource Center. The Resource Center is divided into 2 parts, one for students and one for educators. Here students learn how to pick a topic, analyze it and write a paper on it. Excellent citation guidelines are provided. Educators are given a variety of teaching aids and activities to try.
• At the top menu there is also a link to Need a Research Topic. Selecting this link takes you to a generated list of topics. Once a topic is selected, a set of research questions and stories that would support writing a paper on such a topic will appear.
