Things to Know

  • You do not have to search twice if a writer has a pseudonym. It will search both versions of his or her name, e.g. Samuel Clemens pulls up results for Samuel Clemens and Mark Twain.
  • When searching remember that like the Biography Resource Center, results are divided into tabs. Check all tabs to get complete listing of results.
  • Research Guide is a link that takes you to pages that show how to pick a topic, analyze it as well as write a paper and cite sources. The Research Guide is not as detailed as the FACTS.com Resource Center in some areas like providing citation style examples for different types of sources.
