Authors on the Highway — Tells of current authors' upcoming
appearances
Access to the Encyclopedia of Literature and the
Gale Literary Index, which tells you which Gale
resource contains information on the term you are searching in case the library
might own the Gale resource in print.
You do not have to search twice if a writer has a pseudonym. It will search both
versions of his or her name, e.g. Samuel Clemens pulls up results for Samuel
Clemens and Mark Twain.
When searching remember that like the Biography Resource Center, results are
divided into tabs. Check all tabs to get complete listing of results.
Research Guide is a link that takes you to pages that show how to pick a
topic, analyze it as well as write a paper and cite sources. The Research Guide
is not as detailed as the FACTS.com Resource Center in some areas like providing
citation style examples for different types of sources.
