Though this list is by no means complete, we think it highlights some very valuable and often used web sites and documents related to questions dealing with our government.

FirstGov – FirstGov is designed to be the first place to look for government information. This user friendly site has a series of the most common subject areas as well as a search engine.

Federal Government Agency Directory – List of executive, legislative and judicial branch agencies as well as independent and quasi-independent agencies. Keyword searching is possible here.

Index of Government Agencies and Departments – Information on federal government departments and agencies including staff and addresses.
