Early Literacy

Children learn skills that will help them learn how to read and write long before they start school. When do they start? In INFANCY and through the first 5 years of life! The library has adopted the Every Child Ready to Read @ your library® project, so that we can help you get your child ready to learn how to read before starting school. Our Early Literacy program can help you get your child ready to learn how to read in school!

Every Child Ready to Read @ your library® is a program of the Public Library Association and the Association for Library Service to Children, divisions of the American Library Association. Every Child Ready to Read @ your library® is a registered trademark and is used with permission.
