Searchasaurus, Kids Search and Student Research Center

These three EBSCO search interfaces are meant to help children and students with their research. Searchasaurus is the most simplistic while Student Research Center contains the most complex search options. Most of the same information is found on all three of these databases but in different degrees of complexity and in different formats.

Searchasaurus

Place for the beginning searcher to find magazine articles, newspaper articles, encyclopedia entries and more on a variety of topics ranging from animals to history to stories. Lexile (reading) levels of the information found go up to Grade 5. more information...

Kids Search

A place to find magazine articles, biographies, images and more on a variety of topics for students in grades K-8. It is similar to Searchasaurus but includes more categories/topics to search (such as geography and languages arts) and more advanced search options. more information...

Student Research Center

A place to find general information on a variety of topics (business, current events, math, technology, etc.) from a variety of sources (newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias, primary source documents and more). For the more advanced student searcher (middle - high school). more information...
