Be a VolunTEEN

teens back to page menu

VolunTEENs are an integral part of KCPL’s summer. Teens ages 12 (by May 31) to 18 earn community service hours while assisting library staff members in a variety of ways. High school graduates are not eligible. If you would like to join VolunTEENs this summer and it’s your first time, you and your parent must attend one information session. If you’re a returning VolunTEEN, you do not need to attend training; you are only required to fill out an application. Pick up an application at one of our locations or click here to download one. Applications are due by April 30. As a result of the program’s success, we cannot accept everyone who applies.
