A History of the West Virginia Capitol
The West Virginia Capitol is perhaps the most recognizable building in the state, but few West Virginians realize all the twists and turns that led to the Capitol we have today. Jim Wallace, author of "A History of the West Virginia Capitol: The House of State," relates how the state might have ended up with a Capitol in a different location or even a different city, as well as how the Capitol could have been much different than the building that exists today.

During the program, check out materials from your local library, then fill out a paper entry form or log your entries on line at KCPL's website under "Current Reads."

The three people from each location who read the most books will receive a drawstring pack with built-in ear bud slot. One lucky reader will win a Kindle Fire provided by the Friends of The Library Foundation.
